I'm going into hospital for surgery soon and will be out of commission for a week. I have to moderate the Forum I run very actively and it will certainly get out of hand during that time.

Is there anyway I can just suspend the Forum for a week. Or make it Read Only? As far as I can see the only option is to close it down completely which presumably means I would lose all the archived postings.

The thing is that you are looking at the Forum AFTER moderation. Appx 25% of the posts have been eliminated.
