Hoping that someone can help me on this one. The site I have designed does not have www. in its url address. Is it because we have decided to go with the free service?? Will this affect search engins like google and yahoo from finding it??
The question you did not ask, but maybe should have:
The reason your css code is splattered across the page is because your keywords meta-tag lacks the ending bracket >.
This makes the tag that says style type etc. part of the metatag, and the following code just text on the page.
Www.mydomain.com is not working but mydomain.com is

This will happen if there is a problem with the DNS settings for your domain. If your domain name is hosted at another company we suggest contacting your web host.
To reset your DNS settings, please do the following:
1. Log into your account
2. Click on Domains
3. Click on your domain name
4. Click on Manage DNS
5. Click on Restore default values
Once this is done, please allow 24-48 hours for the changes to take effect.
This is what I found but don't know if it is any different with free hosting or not as you have. But could open a ticket to bravenet if anything different.
Actually your domain is example.com
www.example.com is just a subdomain like any other. It is purely a matter of convention to direct them both to the same site.
