how can my students get w3c validation using bravenet
I have just uploaded the initial index page with only the structure and w3c has already found 26 errors. Bravenet seems to have added code that I can't change. How can my students alter this so they can get validation from W3c.
Re: how can my students get w3c validation using bravenet
well don't see anything on your page except for the bravenet banner header and footer header
the banner goes at top the footer is to go at bottom and your content in between
since you have free hosting and such
AND you ONLY have 5mb of space to work with
Only content BRAVENET puts on the pages as said is the banner/footer part
YOU DO THE REST
Now not sure fully how you are even making your page to start with since as said nothing on the page it is blank white with I guess the code area talking about the header I guess you put on there

Some of that is true. Possibly all. There is a 5 mb limit. If you have trouble relating it to your question, don't worry. If you read a number of posts before replying, it is easy to add an answer to the wrong post.
The answer to your question is simple:
Don't use the default Validate by URl option. Click Validate by File Upload.
That way, you validate the files before they are uploaded to Bravehost, and before the code is added.
