i have built a site on my computer but am having problems uploading it instead of being on my site domain name it seems to be on domainname.com/index.html
also it seems much of pics and links are just blank with broken symbols how do i get this to work it is harder than building the website to start with !

What editor did you use to make your site?

Your site is supposed to be

yourdomainname.com/index.html

that is what it looks for when you have properly published it

with the yourdomainname part being whatever your domain/subdomain name is


you can still access your site with the yourdomainname.com link


As for pictures not working and links etc you need to make sure everything is published properly, and the coding is correct for where your pictures are supposed to be and with your links as well

If you have everything trying to point to your computer and more then it won't show online


But as said since we have NO REAL link for your site to EVEN see your problem or know what editor and more you are using etc


Maybe when we know more of what we need to know we can go further
