I'm trying to transfer my domain from bravenet to another host. The other host is saying you will need to unlock the domain name. Locked domain names cannot be transferred, contact your current registrar to unlock the domain.
In Bravenet just go under domains and click UNLOCK to the right of the domain name.
I just did this for one domain name and it worked, but I am trying it for another domain name and the new host is saying that the domain is locked. Could it be that within a certain amount of time before automaticrenewal, the domain cannot be unlocked?
