No I haven't. Every city(Mopar dealer) I call tells me the same thing- the part is on back order and may take months to manufacture one. It seems as though PPG has the original molds.
Where are you guys getting your leads? Name dropping cities is not very useful to me. I need more concrete information.
We were able to locate one out of California, but it arrived cracked in the box. So can't be certain that all Mopar dealers work from the same data base, or have accurate inventory. I suppose more phone calls are needed.
I checked the www.car-part.com recycler search engine for you since it sometimes shows new parts.
Don Scharf Auto in Eagle River, WI shows that they have a new one, stock #P1644 in their inventory. It is extremely pricey though. Listed for $1,000. Phone # 800-338-4002. Their business address is 870 Hwy 17 South, Eagle River, WI. There is a picture of the actual glass and it is a DW01314GTYMOP, made in USA, Chrysler logo Safe-Guard. This business appears to be a Dodge Viper-focused dismantler. Maybe they can cut you some slack on the price.
