Re: Safelite buys Glass Pro

They left plenty of creditors hanging, collecting pennies on the dollars owed. You do your homework.

That you view bankruptcy as being dishonest
shows you know very little about bankruptcy or business.

Bankruptcy can and is a way for a company to PAY OFF its creditors
and NOT stiff them.
It is a very honest move rather than closing your doors and hanging everyone out to dry
or just changing names.
It is not a sign of weakness although it can me exploited it is highly regulated and controlled by the courts.
Hardly dishonest, I suggest you do some homework on the topic and
really really do some homework on the state that S L left its creditors in.
(it wasn't what you imply and I dare you to prove otherwise not opinion yourself out of this but prove it)
but I guess that would not fulfill your hate filled agenda.

ROTFLMAO!

Re: Safelite buys Glass Pro

Please keep in mind I didn’t say what they did was illegal. Many take advantage of bankruptcy laws, some for reasons out of their control, others for less honorable reasons. Some take advantage of the system knowing its a way to leave their creditors hanging while they “reorganize “ and continue with the same business practices as before. I have had debts unpaid because bankruptcy court told me to “get in line.” I’m guessing I’m not the only one. So again, illegal? No. Honest? Ethical? Guess that’s up to your conscience, and some simply don’t have one.

Re: Safelite buys Glass Pro

Glasspro was successful by “buying” business. Giving kickbacks to
CSR’s at insurance companies to push business to them. Good honest completion
didn’t work for them, just buy the business. That is what he meant when he said
Safelite has the same thoughts or whatever the term was. Don’t worry all you CSR’s the gift cards will continue. Unless the state licensing board fixes it.

Re: Safelite buys Glass Pro

S L has never given agents gift cards
I challenge you to prove otherwise

Re: Safelite buys Glass Pro

Be Careful!!!!! For what you wish for, Safelite has given out these coupons in the past!!! and all the CSR's had to do was call there Representative to reduce the insureds Deductible.

Re: Safelite buys Glass Pro

Get out from under your rock. SL gives out GC. The local markets hide it from corporate. There is so much that goes on in the field that is hidden and some that is not but just ignored by the upper management.

Re: Safelite buys Glass Pro

You know as well as I know that it's so hard to prove because the field doesn't want it known. I could call out an agent on receiving them but it would but us both in a bad position. So put aside GC. What about all the deductible waiving that's done. That's not right.. close to giving a GC. The fact that SL says "do the right thing even when no one is looking" is a joke. So much wrong doing going on which is covered as well... even by the most senior position in the field.
