Ghost wipes

I have a 2011 Audi Q7 that when the customer adjusts his inside rear view mirror, his wipers swipe once!
I removed the mirror, cleaned the area, replaced the gel pad with OEM and tightened the springs on the mirror! Put it all back together, it all works great until you adjust the mirror, then swipe!
Any ideas?
I have never seen this before and need some help!

Check to see if the bracket is loose. Also look at the plug and wire connections.

check to see if there is a courtesy wipe setting on the vehicle in its controls either on the dash or menu
