WHAT is CCC Compliant????? Dw2355 w/s has this option but what is it?

CCC's software is used by many insurers and body shops to estimate the cost of repairs.

If the glass is CCC compliant, I assume it means insurance companies will accept the proposal.

have recently noticed this as part of the windshield options. So what is the CCC compliant feature ? r/s, acoustical, ldws, and CCC compliant? Nice that ford puts part # on w/s because it says its a dw2132 which is not CCC compliant whatever that means.

CCC compliant to my understanding from what I was told by my supplier is a certification requirement for glass manufactures have to meet for their product to be sold in the Chinese market . From my understanding, is that it meets the China Safety Standards to use on a vehicle in China.

It is the equivalent of the U.S. DOT requirement for certain countries in the Asian-Pacific region.

It is a standard that the glass manufactures must meet in order to legally sell into those markets.
