data, why blame glassbytes when they are simply reporting the news? You are correct when you label the report as propaganda. If the truth were exposed, the insurers have only themselves to blame.
It would be nice to have an article about unconscionable TPA network agreements and how they are used to help insurers control and depress prices of a totally different industry.
reporting the news in the way they do gives the news the report credibility, that must be why. It would be different if they exposed the story for what it is, a building block with the purpose of building a case that strengths the death grip of the opposition.
