Re: freudian slip

Indeed, it's likely a slip as Ohm says, by the AGRR reporter.

However, it's based on a PR statement.

Here's the key: IS IT in the POLICY of INSURANCE, the CONTRACT of Insurance between the policyholder and insurer?

If not, then no amount of "warm n fuzzy" "automatically enrolled at no cost to the policyholder" can make up for the fact that you're providing and enrolling and funneling the customer into a service that's NOT contained in the insurance contract. The insurer isn't contracting for the repairs to the property, so free or not, it won't pass muster once you remove the lipstick from the pig.

After that, there's more, but let's just focus on that key point for a moment...making the service sound customer oriented, when it's not even in the policy. Consumer choice means little if you automatically enroll them into something that you didn't contract with them for, and just because it's supposedly FREE, well, don't mean squat.

Funny how "free windshield repair" is apparently fraudulent, but a "free windshield program" provided by the insurer isn't. Nothing is free, the consumer is paying for it one way or another and we all know it, and the insurers use that to their advantage when ever they DON'T like it, so why is this different?

Just another example of split tongued propaganda.
