LDWS

Third party admins want to only approve $150.00 for recalibration. I guess it's time for a waiver to insureds stating your vehicle may not perform exactly like before due to your insurance company & s lite not wanting to approve this function. They act as 1 correct? Too bad it has gotten to this point the fighting & arguing to get what is right to do the job.

Re: LDWS

Instead of a stupid waiver, inform them that for a cash outlay from their pocket, you will restore the windshield to its proper functioning position and that they should raise hell with their insurance company if it will not reimburse them or pay the right price for having it done correctly in the first place!!!!

Re: LDWS

Well , How much did it cost to have the LDWS recalibrated? Did you do it already or just give car back to insured? If the insured is driving around without it being calibrated you are still liable you know this I'm sure.

What kind of vehicle was it will give the readers more info BTW!
There are actually some LDWS that recalibrate themselves after they are driven a block or two.
