Yes this has been a problem for Dinotrol. I informed them about it months ago but nothing has changed. Some warehouses I understand are pulling it off the shelves because they are tired of giving credits on bad thane.
I started using 9100 about a year and a half ago.......I did have an issue in the beginning. I contacted the rep and we went over the procedures. He also gave me the link to the procedures. Ever since i did, I have not had any problems. In my opinion, the most important step is to make sure all contaminants are removed from the glass. Just washing the glass is not enough. I use a red scotchbrite pad to go over the edges with glass cleaner, then i use their can of 528 special cleaner, to re clean it, then i primer it. Primer must dry for 10 min. 20 for encapsulated parts.
Since i followed those procedures, I have not had any issues.
My company does quite a few body shops in the area, and we have had to remove parts that we have installed before, that is why i can say that the product is working for us.
I also went online and became certified in the product as well.
Nice save attempt Dinitrol representative; can you please enlighten us on how disgruntled users can file a warranty compensation claim directly to your German/French factory when the instal fails? I tried your product and saved a few bucks only to lose far more than I saved due to increased warranty work. btw, please reply with a short list of where your product is used in factory installs in America, not a bus in Bolivia, in America.
