Markets in Colorado seem to be very flooded. Only guy I see on Craigslist is insane with his prices I hope that's not the norm. I only look at Craigslist to get an idea of the low ballers I don't advertise there.
I occasional review this site to see if there is any breaking news in the AG business. Post like yours Atx reconfirms why I am so happy to be out of this business. The stupidity of the vast majority of guys in a pickup truck have killed the industry.
Your right they have. I agree 100% I wish oh do I wish I could get out. Every industry I have looked at as an alternative is being plagued by the same thing "stupidity". I was just talking about this with another business owner here. We both whole heartedly believe this industry needs some regulations.
I think I have seen it all. there are atleast 4 guys here that do installs out of sedans. I saw one guy load about 4 windshields into his car he bought 6 tubes of urethane. I was picking up 1 and make more on that one than he will make on 10.
I also believe the distributors are partially at fault when they stopped requiring you to have a brick and mortar building to purchase that's when it started. All the people that have watched some one install a windshield decided the could do it too it will be eeeeasy money.
