I have held out on getting a POS because I can't find one that just works right for me. But I guess i no longer have a choice I need to streamline the office side of things. I'm tired of late nights entering stuff into quickbooks. Any suggestions on a POS?

Every software has something that stinks about it. That is for sure, and every user has different needs etc. Our shop is on GTS not my choice , but i like the ability to online dispatch etc. I tried E direct but just did not use it enough to give it a fair shake.

I wish this was posted about a week ago. I bought a one year license for Glassmate last week after going through the same QuickBooks grind. I was using QuickBooks Online so at least I could use it in the field for editing or entering data on the go, IE new customer, part, job, etc. Glassmate Mobile gives you none of that. Also have not been able to get the purchasing part of the program to work so I'm still having to log on to distributors sites and search parts for pricing and availability which was one of the biggest selling points to be able to enter customer, vehicle, buy and install, streamlined. Still in my first week of using but I'm afraid buyer's remorse may be setting in!!!!!
