12 Smart ForTwo rain sensor issue - need insight

Just did a 12 Smart ForTwo windshield yesterday, first one I've worked on ever. Very easy job but customer xame back today and states that rain sensor doesnt work on delay but supposedly works on low and high settings. I made a new gel pad with the ggs 901 gel and it looked great. Does anyone have any insight on what could be going on? Thanks in advance.
