Ford Explorer moldings

Has anyone noticed a problem with warping and cracking after installing new Ford Explorer side molding?

Re: Ford Explorer moldings

The cracking usually comes from a tech pressing it down in the wrong place, if you get OEM sides they are marked where to push. We use GGG moldings, not sure if they have the same markings on where to push, but i Know we have done multiples of these for repeat customers no issues.

Re: Ford Explorer moldings

I haven't noticed any markings on the GGG moldings. We order them and the clips and haven't had any problems. Just watch the alignment and don't pop them too hard and you should be alright.
