Hyundai condensation sensor

I've got a 13 Santa Fe to do on monday,I looked at it while at body shop the sensor is just attached to windshield no cover or frit cutout that i could tell.Has anyone changed these over, the glue looks rigid not soft.I would appreciate any feedback.

Re: Hyundai condensation sensor

The ones i have done, had the sensor already on the glass..

Re: Hyundai condensation sensor

The one with sensor cost $185 more and it does'nt look like a special attachment just glued on.

Re: Hyundai condensation sensor

Mark Daniels would have an answer for this i bet!

Re: Hyundai condensation sensor

Got it done, just dbl. side tape holding it on no special cut out, not sure why it should be different part #, unless sensor comes on fw03885
