That just makes me angry!

Re: energy surcharge

Larry I just filled up yesterday at 1.83 a gallon here.

Re: energy surcharge

Anytime you are tired of paying the surcharge feel free to fire up your van, take the time to drive to your "local" warehouse, pick up your glass and return to the shop. If you can do all this for $4.00 I admire you. If your deliveries were free 15 years ago it was because the wholesalers were making more money on the parts. Competition has pushed the margins down to the point that the wholesalers can no longer afford to provide free delivery. Don't be so ignorant as to believe you are the only one having a hard time making a buck these days.

I got to the warehouse all the time. so no issue here.

Re: energy surcharge

I never did understand Fuel surcharge. I advertise FREE mobile service, I am Mobile only anyway but I sill get that call, "How much if I bring it in to your shop" LOL.... When fuel is high price your glass accordingly, It cant get any simpler that that. I think FS turns people off, just like a disposal fee AKA hidden charges. I for one can not stand paying 5 bucks for a 25 cent valve stem when I get new tires. My Price is always Everything but the sales tax!!!! I understand your talking about our vendors but same goes for us.... I honestly couldn't tell you what my FS is and BTW, Fuel is finally 1.99 in Wisconsin

Re: energy surcharge

We advertise no mobile fee within our service area. After that specified area there is an additional fee.

Re: energy surcharge

Gas Prices will not stay where they are right now. In fact wait until spring when they go back to 4-5 smackers per gallon.

Re: energy surcharge

REALITYCHECK
Gas Prices will not stay where they are right now. In fact wait until spring when they go back to 4-5 smackers per gallon.

That's why they are not getting rid of the charge because of your
thinking and I concur with you
