Windshield trim on 2013 Nissan altima

I'm not a glass guy but the trim around windshield on side is messed up and curious if it's easy to replace or would I have to replace windshield in order to do it? It's a 4 door sedan style. Seems there may be some kind of clips or something inside it holding trim down.

Re: Windshield trim on 2013 Nissan altima

its really easy to change, just clips in. when you buy the new one from the dealer you can look at it and see. it just pops up with a little pressure.

Re: Windshield trim on 2013 Nissan altima

Thanks for reply, my wife's brother n law did windshields but has left do to an illness. I'm not home till thur but I assume after what you said I should be able to pop trim and put new one in without breaking clips. I should add that he hasn't done it in a few years and wasn't sure about 2013 model, plus he is out of town.
