Instead of being a dick like some people, I will ask does the shade band dip down into where the rain sensor is? What brand glass was in it before? Did you unplug or touch anything electronic such as turn on car press any buttons while the sensor was detached?
Mark Daniels from GGG is an absolute Guru at rain sensors, hopefully he will pop on here and can actually help, and not hate :)
During the original installation no electronics work turned on or off did not use the key to the vehicle at all.
Went out on a very cold day recently to install new rain sensor gel nothing would work. During this time I did turn on and off the car and plug and unplug the rain sensor the temperatures were below the required temperature for proper Jill installation stating 65 to 75° as being the optimal temperature.
FYI was the brand that I used and it was the brand I was supplied with to redo the job I did not use the second windshield on purpose .
Has anyone seen this issue before I would appreciate any input I can get other than sarcasm thank you very much
your going to have to either go to dealer or have software like this http://www.bavariantechnic.com/ to re-calibrate the rain sensor. We charge this fee to customers and insurance when its needed HTH
I want to thank you for the input I'll try to look at these problems with the windshield. hopefully the issue is just a windshield again thank you for the input.
