A Bad Case of Legal Feeitis

Safelite is hurting!

http://www.glassbytes.com/2014/08/safelite-amends-connecticut-complaint-to-seek-attorney-costs-more/

"Safelite’s attorneys take particular issue with a small portion of the act—PA-13-67(c)(2).

“It prohibits an insurance claims administrator (TPA) from informing policyholders about an affiliated glass repair business unless the administrator simultaneously refers policyholders to a local competitor’s glass repair business,” Safelite attorneys explain."

Safelite's attorneys do not deserve to be paid! They are single handedly making the case for Connecticut. In their poor attempt to explain, in the paragraph above, why the new law is all wrong they suggest that local non-Safelite glass repair facilities are competitors to Safelite Solutions, LLC!

How can a TPA be a competitor to a glass repair facility? TPA's don't repair and replace auto glass........unless the TPA belongs to a group of companies that manufacture, distribute and repair and replace auto glass.....

The insurance companies that have colluded with Safelite and have not lifted one finger in the case so far must see their scheme unraveling by the minute.

Re: A Bad Case of Legal Feeitis

It's hard to convince people Poison Ivory is really just a Rose. Hard but not impossible. If Bel/Safe gets legal fees I have to concede, there isn't one intelligent person working in our Government.
