What to Do About Honda Locktite Window Bolts

Anyone out there have a sure fire quick way of releasing the 10 mm window bolts that Honda has locktited on securing its door glasses to the regulator?

a few years ago, I learned the hard way to support the shoe when unbolting the old broken one from regulator. When I turned the socket wrench, the area on the regulator that the shoe bolts to broke off preventing me from bolting the new window in. I now put my hand in and hold the shoe in place as I use the socket. Yesterday using that method, I had a Fit regulator break.
I don't want to use heat (like a long soldering iron) as all the surround parts are plastic but does anyone pre-treat the window bolts with a substance before tackling bolt removal?

Honda regulators are cheaply made. I replace 3-4 a month due to failure but I don't like to add to a customer's or my woes by creating a bigger problem when replacing a broken window, Are there guys out there who do something prior as to avoid this type of damage? The sad part is that one cannot tell if Locktite has been used or not.

I have in the past unbolted the regulator, taken it out of the vehicle and drilled out the 10, stinks but what other choice do you have if you break it your taking the regulator out of the car anyway...

The only thing that softens lock-tite is heat. A soldering iron sounds like the way to do this as it will heat the head of the bolt and then the threads and not transfer too much heat to the plastic. I would treat them as if they were all had lock-tite on them

If you are in the shop and you have a water cooler with a "hot" water setting... I have a funnel with a piece of tubing on the end. The hot water is close to 180 degrees. Usually enough to melt the locktite. Usually also works on wipers arms/nuts, those little bolts on an Astro Van side window, the window slider bolt in older 2 door Acuras and Accords, and the other day instead of breaking the mirror on an FW2074, I took three minutes to take the dome light out of the headliner, unplug, cut out the glass, lay it on the stand, pour hot water on it. Unscrew it easily.
