Re: glass shortages

if one vendor does not have it, buy form another and make the sale. we use service as a last resort or when there price is way less expensive. gotta look at the profit.
when your vendor does not have its inventory or service up to par, take your bussiness elsewhere. you'd be surprised how quick they respond.

Re: glass shortages

Ol'timer
I believe that those of you who would somehow consider Surface/Stagelite/Boltron as a viable wholesale supplier to your retail business have not been in auto glass long enough to have lost the insurance work that used to allow some of us a reasonably good lifestyle or at minimum keep our businesses operating in the black. Go ahead and continue to try and convince yourselves that these people don't wake up every morning to figure out a new way to take more of your business. Think about it your competitor is your supplier. I have to guess that those of you that can still make a decent living in ARG are not in Southern California where what little insurance work available is theirs first and when you are fortunate to have it come your way you have to keep on your toes to keep from losing it to them. SAG glass; no thanks.

Well said Ol'timer. But some don't get it, and some never will. There is the bigger picture, but way too many look at just the buck today, with little regard for tomorrow, or even next month. Some have "principles" some don't. But to feed the fire that's burning your tail, well that is just not smart in any form. But most that are doing it are probably the same ones who complain about the networks but do nothing to correct it, or they support it by being part of it. comes down to 2 things. either be part of the problem, or be part of the "SOLUTION". Ironic isn't it, be being part of the "solutions" you are actually part of the problem!
