I'm not convinced that discussing anything the BS PR spin doctor BobB from State Farm blubbers is worth consideration much less discussion.
At least by anyone with half a brain.
State Farm's recent decision against waiving deductibles for repair is almost as moronic as cavemen reverting from the wheel to grunt force or a medico applying an ace butterfly bandage to an amputated limb. As for replacements, obviously BobB is as clueless as Sherlock Holmes minus all of his six senses, magnifying glass and Dr. Watson.
I inform ALL of my insurance customers and perhaps their potential future customers about that Farmer decision and the pathetic record insofar as Katrina is concerned.
I hope that everyone else does the same. This sort of nonsensical, dollar-driven, selfish vested interest poses as great a potential threat to the future of our repair and replacement profession as Connecticut's recent attempt to set an asinine standard restricting repairs to an area outside the wiper swipe and the rise of networks.
Youy are correct if you mean that SF is maximizing their profits on the backs of hard working Americans like ourselves. The insurance companies are not in the business of insuring people, they are in the business of paying out as few claims as possible.
