I thought the concensus on an earlier thread had been that "KENNY" was what was needed to get things back on track. Guess that sentiment was just intended for Diamonds bottom line "TRACK", uh? I don't know much about the Diamond story long and sorted story that it is, and my only being in the biz for a couple of years. Just had one bad experience here with one of their CSR's badmouthing our company, got a most sincere apology from management when I called them on it, but I wanted someones job...so no satisfaction. The time or two I've been sneaky and price checked our local competition they really weren't that cheap. Not here anyway.
Diamond is probably the cheapest "chain" around here, but thats not saying much. They seem to set the mark so to speak. All the chains are pretty much around the same. They really aren't exceedingly cheap. Then you have the 5-8 independent, one man ops that are usually pretty competitive...there are one or two people that might be considered "lowballers", but even thats a stretch. All in all my area seems to be pretty consistent with pricing (at the moment).
I agree that the new Diamond website is kind of lowsy. No pictures of the vans anymore, no installation pictures...it comes across kinda plain in my opinion. Oh well.
