How come our costs on glass continue to rise and our discounts to the insurance co. also continues to rise?

How come the Auto Glass Industry is the only place you can get Automotive work performed for $35.00 an hour? Not sure about the rest of the United States, but here in Utah, labor rates at Auto repair shops run between $70 and $90 an hour.

How come since the NAGS re-pricing structure the NAGS list prices continue to go down and not up?

How come we the glass shops of America, continue to allow this to happen to us? Do we enjoy being dictated to? Do we enjoy getting kicked in the teeth by NAGS and the insurance industry?

Im sorry but during the re-structuring of the prices we were told this was suppose to be a good thing. Ya? For who? Not the Glass shops of America.

Now for the question.... How do we fix the problem?

REBELLION!!!

FREEDOM!!!

Beacause like so many other promblems that plague this society we refuse to stand together against these promblems. Even when we do stand together we often can't agree on what the next step would be. We start the associations pay them our money and then they look at us like they don't know what the big deal is. We sit on forums late at night and hope that somebody will do something. Well you are somebody I am somebody . This is your life and its is ending one minute at a time, so from this minute to your last what are you going to do?I am going to keep biting at the ankles of the big boys

Well its obvious that the Insurance industry and NAGS are sharing the same bed. Non of the distributors out there including PPG (lynx) or Service (sgc) honor the NAGS list price, just look at "their" lists prices. Why do we? Because if we dont, then what happens? Only the National Glass shops will do the insurance work? Sooner or later someone, somewhere will create an organization for the Glass Shops of America. Then and only then, may we be heard. We have how many Glass organizations out there? And they do what for us? Take our money, advertise for us, and what else?
