I have been around this business for 35+ years(independent)and have never seen so much b/s in my short career in this business.LOL.....Come on gals and guys take your business into your own hands and quit worrying about what the other guy is doing. There is Great advice on this board, try some of the advice and apply it to your own business philosphy. You will always be faced with the low ballers and the guys that slap and dash, NO way around it.

Spend more effort on your needs, not what you need the other guy to do. The Diamonds and the Safelites will be around for a long time to come, make your business work for your needs and apply your own business experience(common sence). We may not agree with the the way this industry is run by others, but if we all do what is right, the change will come. We can not fight the fire by giving in and accepting practices that we know are not good ones.

If we all do our part, change will come.

I agree that we all have our niche and we don't need to worry about the SGCs and DGCs of the world. It is frustrating when they take away a good customer, but just do your job the best you can and keep visiting that customer and you'll get them back (Unless they are completely obsessed with price and in that case they will continue to get what they pay for).
