back when i worked for cascade they would have us set up tents in inclement weather, but since i have been on my own i have never even thought of using one. they work some what for little cars but 70% of what we do around here is trucks. plus if the wind comes up good luck!
i heard from a guy in california once that he had a tent set up on a car when a gust of wind came up off the ocean and there went his tent skidding and twisting through the parking lot taking out 5 cars along the way.
I don't do the whole tent thing for all of the reasons above. If the weather is that bad the customer better have a big enough garage, carport, horse barn or whatever or else they are getting rescheduled.
