one of my gm dealers came to me with a list of incomplete nags w/s part #'s it had no sufixes ie gbn, gby he wanted me to write down the rest of the part #,s
it include prices from another local shop the guy at the dealer showed me an e-mail from a gm rep that stated they are working with ppg to try and get some of the after market share by meeting the after maket pricing on eo glass

I don't get it. Did he want you to give him an estimate? Or did he want you to provide him with the information your competition left out, making it easier for him when he orders from them?

Also, from what my PPG rep says GM and PPG are trying to cut out this process --- GM provides specs & molding to PPG, who makes & assemblies the glass part - GM gets it back - Sells it back to PPG who sells it to the Dealer, who sells it to us as OE, who sells it to the customer or PPG sells it to us then we sell it to the dealer as OE because he can't get it from his factory, who is really PPG...........
