now that the price of gas has gone down, does this mean that our suppliers are going to quit charging us a fuel charge? YA SURE!!!

Re: surcharge

Don't bank on it,,, you will lose$$$$ I believe the rest of the industry is waiting for the shops to get thier heads out their backsides and raise prices accordingly,,, duh,,, it's a no brainer for business people!!!!If it means WALKING AWAY FROM LOW PROFIT JOBS,,,, DO IT,,, It will make an impact on the industry!!!!

Re: surcharge

Not yet anyway, maybe they want to take a wait and see approach. See if last's more than a couple of weeks.

Re: surcharge

I'm sure they won't. they just implemented 3.5% increase on all auto glass!

Re: surcharge

I am with xxx on this one.

I think the manufacturers took a huge step forward when they chose to NOT USE NAGS lists anymore. Thye did what they had to for their profitability. They hoped all of the retail glass companies, would follow suit and raise prices and stop using the failed system that is the NAGS LIST.

But sadly, it seems there are still to many fish in the sea, and to many that blindly follow the insurance companies "policies".
