1999 Chaparral

Does anyone have a connection or information for ordering glass (curved-along with frame)for boats??
Is it best to call local boat dealers or go directly to Chaparral? This was damaged in the last hurricane.
We took the flat frames apart and made pattern for tempered.thanks for any help on this.

Re: 1999 Chaparral

We do alot of boat glass here in wisconsin. If you cant find it from the manufacture there are some after market companys out there that deal with these boats.I think one of them is blue bonnet,we usally heat and bend lexan and looks great when done. The only thing is you have to let them know that it will fade or scratch, Most of the time lexan is the only option. Most of our customers just want something back in where the glass was.Newer boat like that, I would dig deep for the glass first.

Re: 1999 Chaparral

What do you use to bend the lexan? Is it like a high power blow dryer?

Re: 1999 Chaparral

Thanks for your help. I did go thru Taylor Made for the windshield. Wow-Almost $900 for it.Really no options but to get it from them. Wish we could get that for autoglass!!
