ANYONE KNOW WHO MAKES THE CUTOUT TOOL BASED OFF OF A SAWZALL AND HAS A COLD KNIFE ATTATCHMENT TO IT? IT SORT OF OSCILATES LIKE A FEIN KNIFE WITH THE GATOR 'L' BLADES... I LIKE THE IDEA OF USING A VERY SKINNY BLADE ESPECIALLY ON A DW1217 SO YOU DON'T DISTURB THE VERTICAL LEG.
I LOVED THE FIEN KNIFE WITH THE 'L' GATOR BLADES BUT I'VE GOT TO FIND SOMETHING ELSE BESIDES THE FEIN KNIFE. THE BLADES ARE $25 A POP... WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! THEY USED TO BE ONLY $10 A POP...
Equalizer Ninja is a air powered cold knife. Check theircat. http://www.equalizer.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=2004&Category_Code=03
Equalizer made a tool similar to what you are looking for. It's called the viper pt # vck 421. It's not on their site. Sommer-Maca has it on page 45 of their cat. The Ninja works great on truck sliders, you need a big compressor.
The BTB tool has powered cold knife blades, long blades for below dashboard, air hacksaw attachment and blades for safe encap glass removal. Eventually bought one and haven't picked up my Fein, Equalizer or cold knife since! Check their site www.btbtools.com
the equalizer express is a dewalt sawzall with a 3in. putty knife, they work great it is the only power cut out tool i use anymore. i hated having 3 different pwer tools for different jobs.
