Phred, you need the rain sensor kit made for that w/s. Some rain sensors can be removed without damage using heat, but will probably crack the w/s, and only a few work that way ,, get the rain sensor kit from from your distributor. Or bring it to the pro's,, who know's hth's
Phred you don't need a rain sensor kit just unclip the two clips on the sides of the sensor and pull it off the glass there is a rubber membrane on the sensor that sticks to the glass for good contact, there is no glue involved with the rain sensor. The sensor is reusable just like the lincoln ls
We just did one last week. The customer had it done previously by another large company. He had nothing but problems with the rain sensor afterwards. The dealership was able to resolve the issue by using the rain sensor kit.
We have tried (once, maybe twice) using the pilkington rain sensor kit. They were junk. Anyone know of a GOOD rain sensor kit? The dealer just wants way too much!
