what is the difference between these two w/s. is there a
blk,band by the rearview mirror on fw2268, are the two w/s interchangable.

There is a different frit around the mirror button to hide the electrochmic mirror and wiring. Other than that, they are the same.

If it is self dimming, the mirror will not have a "flip knob" to dim mirror, has a button that activates the feature. If it has a "flip knob" or "toggle", is not self-dimming.

I usually ask insured if there are any wires attached to the mirror I have found that to be the easiest way, most customers can tell you that!
