underside molding

Anyone know of a GOOD brand of underside molding, we've tried AGC but the two sided tape didn't work for crud. Don't want to buy them all before getting feedback here. Thanks

Re: underside molding

The only one I've used is Gold Glass Group T-201 (I think that's the number). It seems decent, but I don't like the packaging. I've used it on the new Hyundai's over at Hertz.

Re: underside molding

Gold Glass Group makes a very good product. As does Marcy.

Re: underside molding

Ditto on the Gold Glass. They have the T201 and T202. Just used some 202 today on a skylight for a Nissan Quest. Looks and holds great.

Re: underside molding

I recommend using the tool to guide the moulding when installing.(GOLD Moulding only)

Makes sure the glass is warm and I usually go ahead and put the glass primer on first it seems to help to two sided tape stick better.

Then I run a SMALL bead of urethane along edge and smooth and let dry a little before installing glass. This helps keep it from rolling off in some applications.

Re: underside molding

I vote for T201/202
