THAW AND FREEZE

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF FREEZE AND THAW OF THANE AND PRIMERS LEFT IN THE VAN OVER NIGHT HAS ANY EFFECT ON THE PRODUCT? THOUGHT OF THIS AFTER READING DOGG'S POST
ON NO MOBILE SERVICE.

Re: THAW AND FREEZE

Elron, most of the urethanes and primers we use have a "store at ? temp" reccomendation. You might double check that with the rep or technical supervisor at the thane manufacturer.

Re: THAW AND FREEZE

All of our deliveries are overnite, but are in outside drop boxes as is most the rest of the body shops and glass shops in N.MN. By morning every thing is real cold but have never seen any frozen solid primers or urethanes. HOPE I NEVER DO! Makes ya wonder though???

Re: THAW AND FREEZE

hard to say if it has any adverse affects. my primers have never froze up here in MN. I usually try to bring in all my freezables including primers and urethane for the night tho. mostly all say store between 50 and 80 or so. but what happens when you apply that to a -10F piece of glass? yah. not good.

ALSO: I hate looking like a pig and covering the dash of the van up with so much crap just to warm it all up in the morning. Then u show up to the customers house and they think you are some sort of mickey mouse operation.
