got it there are 4 metal tabs push in each one lighty with small flat screw driver .

Equalizer has a tool for the ball bearings.

get top tab released then with a little up and down movement will release from the rest of notches. By up and down I mean parallel with windshield. And yes have fun with rear view.

that rearview mirror was a pain in the a$$. I dick around for about an hour .Then my 14 year old sons shows up has back together in 10 minutes.pI$$ me off.
