Lynx script for State Farm in MN for non O and A

Does Lynx tell your customers that they need to pay the shop direct even though you have asignment of claims? We are going to court Jan 6th in the state of Arizona because of Lynx and State Farm ignoring the asignment of claims. They are telling are customer that they must pay us out of pocket for the job.

Re: Lynx script for State Farm in MN for non O and A

Yes if you are not on the metryx and have not renewed your O&A they are telling the insured everywhere they must pay up front and be repaid by State Farm.

Re: Re: Lynx script for State Farm in MN for non O and A

Are you from Minnesota?

Re: Lynx script for State Farm in MN for non O and A

Nope.

Re: Lynx script for State Farm in MN for non O and A

According to another trade magazine State Farm will also fine for fraud, stating glass company will pay State Farm liquitated damages of$1000.00 for each invoice or fraudulent claim in violation of state law or under which the glass shop falsely munipulated the pricing or geographic area under which the job was performed. That to me sounds like some major companys which list local # and are not in area should be fined. Also gives State Farm more liability against glass shops. But they cut our money.

Re: Lynx script for State Farm in MN for non O and A

And who or what gives State Farm the right to fine anyone? Who the hell do they think they are? I would have to see this ti belive it.

Re: Lynx script for State Farm in MN for non O and A

If you agree to the prices they will not tell the insured's to pay up front. We are a non-O&A in MN and the biggest problem we have is delayed payments as they call every customer to verify the parts used including moldings.

Effective Thurs, Statefarm has determined that the assignment language in AZ is valid and they will start making direct payments to the shops if faxed to a specific number at Lynx. If you have any invoices that the insured has not forwarded checks to you, send to Statefarm and they will make payment.

Magic to see it in print look at AUTOGLASS November 2005 issue page 17.

Re: Lynx script for State Farm in MN for non O and A

In MN we are getting paid direct, They try to tell the customer they MAY need to pay up front,, then we REMIND them "NOT IN MN", Then they back off a bit, and go "oh yea, thats right,, MN we can send the check to the shop". We got paid last Sat. for a job we are doing today. The problem we have to watch out for, is if we run into any problems TOO BAD FOR US! This industry is a mess!

Re: Re: Lynx script for State Farm in MN for non O and A

TM Can you supply me with that fax number? As of today the 21st of November we have not been given any direction by State Farm on billing direct wether we agree to price or not.

Re: Lynx script for State Farm in MN for non O and A

We are receiving checks from State Farm direct. We are in MN. We also have had trouble with the Lynx "script readers" not knowing and understanding that in MN we don't collect from the policy holder. We were on the O & A but since the new agreement we are not and we feel better not giving all the info they ask for to be on the Metrix system. In my opinion the more info they have on you the easier it is for them to find ways to take more control of YOUR business! We told all the local agents what was going on and they understood and are still sending us work. Still the worst paying company though!
