THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE GOOD TO START A NEW THREAD. ANYONE HAVE A DIRECT # TO GET TO ALLIED? (AND OR A GO TO PERSON!) PLEASE POST. ALSO FROM A PREVIOUS POST WHAT LYNX 800 CAN BE USED TO NOT SIT ON HOLD FOR HOURS?
i can't help with the # for Allied. i'm also interested in a # for Lynx. lately, i've been on hold forever even using the 239-479-6000 number- it's very frustrating! hopefully someone can help.
Allied utilizes regional managers, who ultimately report to Jeff Anderson (614-807-2437). He is the head person that makes all polices and procedures regarding glass. Good luck, the guy is a real "ass". He is very arrogant, will not let you get a word in and talks up Safelite.
In the past, I have contacted Rudy Anderson 402-419-7880. I cannot remember his title. He works auto glass and auto body problem claims for Allied and is located in Lincoln, NE.
Noticed that Jeff Anderson has a 614 number. Is he affiliated with Safelite or Allied? When I worked with Rudy, he was able to authorize payment, as I was being stonewalled by Safelite. The final payment for the glass claim even came from Allied instead of Safelite.
Rudy will not discuss changing the glass program or able to make pricing agreements. I always try to talk to the decsion maker and Jeff Anderson is the person to complain to, he is the person that chose Safelite. I did notice the area code, I find it amazing that so many of the insurance companies or glass managers are located in Columbus, even our friend Hal Hair.
I called the number and it was Lynx. They told me to get all the toll free numbers for them to call 1-239-479-6000 and hit option 2 then option 9. I tryed to do just that. At first I was told to enter the first 3 letters of each ins. company using my touch tone key pad on my phone. I did this and was put on hold . I tryed again-same thing. I tryed again. This time I was told Welcome to the Auto Body parts and repair center. Put in your zip code and we will direct you to someone in your area. . I guess the Lynx Csr doesn't know the numbers either. I was all set to get a complete list and post them for all of us to use but-Sorry, No Luck.
Lynx actually has a wesite that I use so I dont have to sit on hold for ever when I call. You get a user name, password, enter shop info and log in every time you want to check status of dispatch #'s. You can get approvals for what ever you need to online, you can email them with questions and they get right back to you with in that day. To me it is so much better than speaking to them.It is www.lynxservices.com.
if we are so important to lynx as service providers why cant they give us a phone # for questions? we really are not their main concern thats why as long as they get a shop to set up the appointment with the customer that is their main focus then they could care less about anything after that. this is a reallity as proven by the posts here. just another way of doing in-personal service.
Hello !!!!!
As a lynx service provider, I expect the same professional curtious services from Lynx that I provide to our customers. If I treated customers the way Lynx treats us as contractors we would be out of business! If you think for one minute that being able to contact someone online is more efficient than talking to someone in person, you must work for Lynx. If you cannot talk to a "qualified" person at Lynx to solve problems upfront, it only delays responses and creats more headaches and confusion. Is Lynx paying you for your time you are wasting dealing with their inefficienties? Time is money in the business world, they are "a monopoly" and we get the ....
CURT IVIE / MANAGER
Not so sure about the email vs. phone call issue. I have many vendors and clients that I get a much quicker response from by sending them an email vs. trying to call them.
I think a lot of people prefer email to a phone call myself included. I am not saying email is better, especialy if you have a very odd situation, but I do think a lot of people these days reply to an email a lot faster than trying to call them and waiting for them to return your call. The old phone tag-your it syndrome.
Earlier this year I has a Lynx Rep email me a list of all the insurance companies they deal with and a contact phone number. It has been quite some time since I got it an just never used the list. I believe they go directly to Lynx. Here it is for all to see. If you want me to email your a copy-send me an email! Hope this helps!
Doesn't copy well here sorry

THANKS FOR ALL THE RESPONSES! Even though this thread started way back in June. And yes I believe j is right, our new years resolution is to get started with NEON. This is a GREAT time to start doing things a bit different. Change will only come when enough of us start doing things "OUR" way not "thier's"! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
AT THIS POINT, IM NOT EVEN DEALING WITH LYNX. IM CALLING THE INSURANCE COMPANY DIRECT. I ASK FOR CLAIMS DEPT AND WHEN THEY TRANSFER ME TO THAT DEPARTMENT I ASK WHERE AUTOBODY/GLASS SHOPS CAN SEND THE INVOICES TO. I GET A LOCAL ADRESS, AND NAME OF THE ATTENTION IT SHOULD GO TO. I GET PAID WITH IN 15-30 DAYS. I HAVE ONLY BEEN DOING THIS FOR 1 MONTH NOW THOUGH. I DONT KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I KEEP DOING IT.
