I have enquiry regarding British singer Limahl and band Kajagoogoo.
1. There was repeat of an episode on Rage with Limahl as a host (22 April 1984). Does anyone has a copy in HD ? (not sure when Rage started to broadcast in HD).
2. There were 2 episodes, one with interview with Limahl (according to ABC library dated as 11 June 1986, see first on list: http://search.abc.net.au/search/search.cgi?query=Limahl&collection=tara&Submit=) and one with interview with some of Kajagoogoo band members (24 March 1983, see first on list: http://search.abc.net.au/search/search.cgi?collection=tara&advanced=true&query=kajagoogoo&meta_a_sand=&meta_d1=&meta_d2=&meta_f_sand=&meta_d_sand=&meta_g_sand=&meta_p_sand=&num_ranks=20&Submit=Search).
Does anyone knows numbers of episodes for 2 above (or perhaps have a copy of the episodes.

The 1984 episode hasn't been broadcast in HD.
"rage goes insufficiently retro" went HD in 2019, and that particular ep was shown in 2018.

Perhaps check the thread on this forum called “countdown digital file sharing” if you haven’t already. Many kind souls have uploaded various countdown episodes that have been repeated on rage and I’m sure I saw the April 1984 episode in that lot of episodes. Not sure if the files have expired already but you can ask. Do you absolutely need the episode in HD?

Thank you both for responding. Of course I will prefer that in HD, but I can see that was not broadcast in that format. The episode with Limahl as host (22.04.1984) I have anyway. The other 2 episodes I guess were not rebroadcast at all on Rage, so I guess will have to wait and see. I've got details from ABC sales library, but these are some compilations rather than single episodes.

I know this forum is dedicated to Countdown. However it is the only one I know of this kind in subject (music retro videos in Australia). So I thought I'll top it up with another enquiry: anyone has a copies of "The Mike Walsh Show" broadcast on channel Foxtel in '80s? I specifically search for episode: 4045 broadcast on 13 April 1984. It contains interview with Limahl. Generally Limahl visited Australia in April of 1984. I believe there are more records from that visit (beside Countdown and Mike Walsh Show), a bit sad majority unavailable 🙁

I have a vintage 1984 VHS which is still in well working order and Limahl is performing Only For Love in the studio in Melbourne. It is either Mike Walsh Show or Bert Newton Show.

I can send you a copy on DVD to the UK, it doesn't bother me. I don't do online sending, not my thing.

The video is in Mono as well as not many people have Stereo videos in the 80s unless they were well off, it is an acquaintances video from 1984.

He gave me some of his videos to keep many years ago as there is some RARE gems on it.
