COUNTDOWN IS BACK THIS JANUARY, 2019 ... ON rage !!!!! Stay tuned below with regular Countdown full archival information for each Countdown episode rage shall be airing every Saturday throughout January ...
So … rage are playing three 1980 Countdown episodes and one 1983 Episode but the 1983 Episode with Dire Straits at Molly's house was only played about 3 years ago and then rage are playing The Reels AGAIN for the 3rd time for ROCK ARENA which is seriously a WASTE of time when there is so much in the archives that hasn't been played. That ROCK ARENA with The Reels live needs to go as they can only repeat it so many times. Arghhhh … rage made it sound like they were going to play an 1980 marathon like last weekend for 1982.
Anyhow's … glad rage are playing my request for Countdown Episode22/06/1980 with Janis Ian :-)

Yeah a strange decision to replay the Reels episode (a great episode btw) when there are so many we haven't seen. Still nice to have some variety even if a couple are repeats
The repeated episodes make this a very underwhelming night. Saw the Rock Arena in 2013 and the 1983 Countdown just 3 years ago. Surely no one requested that!
I stayed up last week to watch all the 1982 episodes as they were being broadcast. This weeks' effort can just go on the HD and I will edit out the 3 1980 episodes from all the repeated footage.
Rage have generally made a real effort in recent times so I have no idea what happened here.

It's possible someone requested both of the repeats. Perhaps they missed them first time around. Anyway the Rock Arena one is particularly disappointing as it's the first one they've shown in ages and it's a repeat.
Will def need to request some Rock Arena's for 2021
