Re: Episodes of Countdown that Rage haven't aired 2019 update

OK, continuing with my own reconciliation, here are the 80s by year, that I cannot tell if they EXIST or NOT SHOWN. I’ve added hyperlinks to Jason’s site where I could.
1980
1980 47 episodes made, 38 shown, 2 believed missing with 7 still to air
9 Feb 1980 1980 230 This show Ellen Foley and co-Molly Meldrum (without hat).
11 Oct 1980 1980 388 "End Of A Decade" Molly with a Summary of the 1970's. The program progresses through each year of the decade both musically and historically
1981
1981 46 episodes made, 39 shown with 7 still to air
I know you said you weren’t listing Rock Awards, but I don’t have a date.
22 Mar 1981 1981 241 The 1980 Tv Week Rock Music Awards
1982
1982 52 episodes made (summer shows pre-recorded in 1981), 42 shown with 10 still to air. Also at least 3 episodes - No. 10, 19 and 20 - of Countdown Friday (clip show hosted by John Peters) exist
Do they or don’t they exist? I can’t find any rage air dates.
1983
1980 47 episodes made, 38 shown, 2 believed missing with 7 still to air
28 Jan 1983 1983 unknown 1983 COUNTDOWN TITLES, (35MM NEG. DUE TO LACK OF 35MM FACILITIES UNABLE TO VIEW)
5 Dec 1983 1983 unknown THIS STANDBY SHOW WAS HOSTED BY MOLLY MELDRUM. THE SHOW NUMBER AND THE DATE OF TRANSMISSION IS UNKNOWN THE DATE OF TRANSMISSION SHOWN ABOVE IS THE RECORDING DATE. VIDEO CLIPS:
I wasn't aware of those 3 70s episodes existing. Certainly if one is only an audio recording then it wouldn't ever make it to air but great to know that it exists. Ep 200 I think they showed a documentary on the making of that episode a few years back but I don't know of the actual episode existing. Sherbet live might exist if it is a live concert that wasn't identified as Countdown.
As for the 80s questions:
Ep 230 with Ellen Foley was shown in 2017
Ep 388 was an Australian Crawl hosted show from 1983 which exists but hasn't aired as yet. The End Of The Decade Show (recorded in lists at Oct 11 1980) is actually the same as episode 224 (Dec 16 1979) which was used as an emergency standby tape as industrial action was common in this period. I'm not sure if it was shown on Oct 11 1980 as that was a Saturday but may have been shown instead of the usual repeat from the previous week. Ep 262 (Oct 19 1980) is not known to exist and it may be that they showed ep 224 that week. I should really add ep 262 to possible lost episodes for 1980 as I have no information for Oct 19 1980 and assumed that is when they showed a repeat of 224. If they didn't then there is a missing episode.
1981 - I do list Rock Awards, its just that the ABC didn't always give the episodes an episode number. The awards shows were numbered in 1980 (235) and 1981 (277) but after that it went a bit odd. In 1982 it was unnumbered but there is also no No 324 and the previous week (Duran Duran) was numbered 323/1 for some reason. In 1983 it is unnumbered but there is no ep 367 so it may have been that one. In 1984 it is unnumbered but there is no Ep 412. It had no number in 1985, 1986 or 1987 with only standard episodes having numbering in those years.
1982 - I assume you are asking whether the Countdown Fridays exist. I know that at least 3 episodes certainly exist but I don't know if any more do. There was a thread about Countdown Fridays on here once where we discussed that in detail.
1983 - I have no idea what that Jan 28 item is.
The Dec 5 episode was a standby program that they made in case of industrial action or emergency. It is just a clips episode that definitely exists that was made but never aired as it wasn't required. Maybe they aired it over the summer of 1983-84 but I am not aware of that.
