Countdown to return Sunday nights 6pm from September 17.

Classic Countdown shows are set to return from Sunday nights 6pm September 17. Our Sunday nights have just become exciting once again 30 years on from the final episode of Countdown July 19, 1987.

Don't get too excited, it is 13 Episodes with a focus on each year of Countdown with a 'Best Of' performances.

Expect 1975/1976/1977/1978 to be filled with the very limited material they have of performances by Sherbet, Skyhooks, JPY, Marica Hines etc.

What will be played from 1979 to 1987 should be interesting. I am hoping we get performances which are not on the Countdown Wonder Years DVD's
