The Final Countdown - 30 Years On.

Tonight in Australia marks the 30 Anniversary of the End of Australia's Most Iconic Music Program Countdown with the 1986 Countdown Music and Video Awards that Signed off the Show Once and for all as it was Molly Meldrum's Decision to End coz he Refused to Take Another Paycut from the ABC at the Time.

Never knew that Molly was the one who ended Countdown. Wonder how it was rating in 1987. Anyway probably for the best as it was way past its peak.
