Re: rage foes retro 2 POSSIBLE - 3 COUNTDOWN EPISODES

I was curious about Flame Fortune so I googled her - wish I hadn't

Re: rage foes retro 2 POSSIBLE - 3 COUNTDOWN EPISODES

^ Interesting!

edit - that was in response to Guru's post... I already knew about Flame Fortune (her boyfriend apparently murdered her in the US in 1991).

The guy in the Flame Fortune video, Peter 'Troy' Davies, also died in 2007.

Re: rage foes retro 2 POSSIBLE - 3 COUNTDOWN EPISODES

I find it funny how the ABC encourage us to set our VCR's "to tape Retro Month". Once upon a time they would have plastered all over the screen that copying is prohibited. Must say,I am really enjoying this Retro Month so far!!

Hi Patrick, So there are no more 1979 episodes left to show? I was assuming that nearly all '79 episodes still existed or were some of them deleted also?

Re: attention: Patrick

Roughly half of the '79 episodes exist. I see this as a glass half full situation - at least we have 20 or so '79 episodes. It could have been a handful of episodes as it is with '75-'78.

Re: attention: Patrick

Hi Matt - All I can say is - 'what Gary and Guru have just said!'.

A great pity that any episode of Countdown is gone but that's that and we all have to live with it unfortunately. I always live in hope someone somewhere will find one on an old UMatic/VCR tape so who knows.......
