Holy Cow! that many? I guess up to about 2005 Countdown came first on my VHS tapes and i had no choice but to give Rock Arena the flick. I wasn't going to record Countdown in LP!
When did Rock Arena finish? I wasn't aware of the show's existence at the time, though I was aged mostly in single digits when it was on
Interesting that you have the tv guide snippett still! No one can argue with that info. Was that 11.25am or pm? Was it still hosted by Suzanne Dowling at that point? I, too can't remember too much about it being on tv back in the day,.i was too wrapped up in Rage at that time, as were probably a lot of others, hence it being the final i guess?!
Rock Arena yes, was still hosted by Suzanne Dowling in the end. Used to watch and record what I wanted from Rock Arena HEAPS in 1987-1988 on Saturday Midday.Afternoon
Updating a thread I started 4 years ago I think we have had the following episodes of Rock Arena over the years...at least they are the episodes that I have got.
If I have missed any please leave a comment.

Just did a quick count and have 20 episodes out of what looks like 50 or so that have aired.
Thanks Armin - good to have the list.
TARA only seems to have Rock Arena details between September 1982 and November 1988 - nothing on the episodes before Sep 1982, or from Dec 1988 or Jan 1989. And there seems to be lots of missing 1988 episodes - the details of only 15 shows from 1988 are available, compared to 47 shows from 1987 and 35 shows from 1986.
Pity rage advertised 'rage goes retro' with Suzanne Dowling's figure this year but didn't actually play any episodes with her hosting.
I have most Rock Arena's rage have played except I didn't keep Crowded House or The Angels 'Live' as I loathe both of them.
Some of the Rock Arena's that have been played, I requested over the years like I'm Talking 'Live', The Dugites 'Live', Kids In The Kitchen 'Live', Machinations 'Live plus a few others like David Sylvian which rage played for me last year, finally!
I still want a handful more which I have requested. Again, pity rage only play very little Rock Arena. rage should have a month for COuntdown an month for Rock Arena and then one for the Recovery fans, so they don't whinge!
