I'm going to see Flashdance at the cinemas on Monday, as part of Dendy Cult Classics movies. Can't wait, never saw its original release in '83 and only watched it for the first time about 12 years ago. Of course, for me it's all about the music and being part of pop culture, the height of MTV, the early beginnings of break dancing etc. 
'Pretty In Pink' this coming Monday night. AMAZING!
'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' next week and the following 'The Breakfast Club'.
