OK, for something completely different...

I think most of us here are somewhat (if not exclusively) 'retro' in our musical tastes.. and I am too, although occasionally you find the odd gem amongst the steaming pile of new $hit being released these days. But yes it's much harder to find new stuff that is good than it was 'back in the old days'.

So, the purpose of this thread is to post some 'new'(-ish) music you like that others here might not know about, but may possibly like. Preferably post a youtube link (or similar site) so those interested can check it out for themselves.

My choice of best 'new' act is SAM & THE WOMP

This track 'Bom Bom" came out late last year and I can't stop playing it. It's soooo catchy, I swear one listen and you'll be hooked!

Think Haysi Fantaysee/Bjork (when she was fun)/Junior Senior... that sort of thing.
