I've just put together an awesome comp. of UK artists from 1982.
The main aim was to feature the top UK acts, as well as trying to put together some of their smaller hits of 1982. Had to have some biggies in there to keep the momentum going. LOL. The tracklisting (not in order):
1. Really Saying Something - Bananarama feat. Fun Boy Three
2. The Only Way Out - Cliff Richard
3. Young Turks - Rod Stewart
4. The Other Side Of Love - Yazoo
5. Loving You - Chris Rea
6. Rio - Duran Duran
7. I Could Be Happy - Altered Images
8. Lifeline - Spandau Ballet
9. Fantasy Island - Tight Fit
10. Do You Really Want To Hurt Me - Culture Club
11. It's Raining - Shakin' Stevens
12. Torch - Soft Cell
13. Child Come Away - Kim Wilde
14. Princess - Elton John
15. Promised You A Miracle - Simple Minds
16. Fantastic Day - Haircut 100
17. Talk Talk - Talk Talk
18. Girl Crazy - Hot Chocolate
19. Open Your Heart - The Human League
20. Driving In My Car - Madness
Well done Michael a great selection of classic hits.
I remember a huge hit in Australia but not sure if it was a huge hit in the UK though, but I am talking about Members - Radio. It was on the 1982 Out Of The Blue album.
Thanks Jason, 1982 is my fave year in music. A shame I wasn't able to include some other tracks, as I had to cull it down to 20. All these tracks are burnt from the CD's I have, not bought online. My next one is 20 rare Aussie tracks from 1982 (well the rarest I can find in my CD collection). Stay tuned.
(Thought it would be better to post it here than create a new topic).

10. Landslide - Olivia Newton-John
11. Never Ceases To Amaze Me - Split Enz
12. When The War Is Over - Cold Chisel

Can i add Fruit Pastilles with I Don't Ever Want To See You Again! How I LOVE it!!!
You can! I would have loved to include it as well, but don't have it in my CD collection. I do have a CD burner, which I can hook up to the TV or anything with audio output. Maybe I should record some of the rarest tracks from 1982 Countdowns on disc?....maybe another project down the track?
